Summary

Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Engineer to join our team at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick. This is a full-time role working 40.25 hours per week. This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off. On offer is a salary banding of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, plus a shift allowance and benefits package. What will you deliver?Undertake a proactive role in responding to reactive jobs to complete diagnostic, fault finding and repair to complex mechanical systems in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidanceRespond to BMS alerts and phone calls during nightshift, acting as the initial point of contact. Assess the nature of the issue, allocate the task to the appropriate team member, and complete the necessary documentation.
