Summary
Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford.
This is a full time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work.
Job details:
• Nationwide store deliveries across the UK.
• Average of 3–4 drops per shift (palletised goods – loading and unloading required)
• Experience with refrigerated units preferred.
We have both Permanent and long term agency positions available, on the following shift patterns:
• 4 on, 4 off Trampers with sart windows between (00:00-01:00, 01:00-02:00, 07:00-08:00 and 11:00-12:00)
• Friday to Monday (Non Tramping) - various start times available
Agency Pay Rates (including Holiday):
• Monday to Friday: £21.98 per hour
• Monday to Friday overtime: £26.18 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday: £25.00 per hour
• Weekend overtime: £29.86 per hour
• £26.20 night out allowance
Requirements:
• Assessment required before starting.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
