Support Worker (Driver/Non-Driver) – Children with Learning Disabilities & Autism

We support children and young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to enjoy safe, fun and meaningful community activities.

Activities include:

Swimming

Woodland and nature walks

Parks and indoor play centres

Bus and train journeys

Cinema trips

Wildlife parks

Go Bounce and other recreational activities

We're looking for people who are:

Caring, reliable and enthusiastic.

Good communicators with a positive attitude.

Patient and willing to learn.

Passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Comfortable participating in community and outdoor activities.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable, as many of our activities take place in the community.

Experience isn't essential. We provide full training and ongoing support—we're looking for the right attitude.

This role is ideal for university students studying nursing, social work, psychology, education, occupational therapy or related subjects, as well as teaching assistants, sports coaches, healthcare assistants and anyone seeking rewarding weekend or school holiday work.

Hours: Primarily weekends and school holidays, with shifts typically ranging from 4–8 hours and opportunities for additional hours.
