Summary

We're looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC / Mechanical Bias Engineer to join our team and help maintain a wide range of building systems at one of our key client's sites. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of essential infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
-Carry out the service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical installations across the site.
-Maintain ventilation systems including air handling units (AHUs) and intake/extract systems.
-Maintain heating and cooling systems, including thermal wheels and fan coil units (FCUs).
-Work on water systems such as booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters.
-Undertake both planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ranging from basic plumbing to statutory compliance tasks such as legionella monitoring.
-Respond to client queries, identify and report defects, and provide clear and timely updates.
-Ensure all inspections, remedial works, and service activities are accurately recorded and documented.
-Work safely at height, in confined spaces, and undertake manual handling tasks in line with safe working practices.
Required Qualifications
-Proven experience within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
-Relevant mechanical qualifications such as F-Gas, City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 5, or HNC (or equivalent).
-Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Permit to Work systems, and safe working practices.
-Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
-Competent in using a mobile device for reporting and record keeping.
-Full UK driving licence is essential.
