Summary

Senior Estates Manager

Are you an experienced Estates engineering and infrastructure professional who enjoys tackling complex operational challenges, building strong partnerships and delivering measurable improvements?

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Senior Estates Manager to a Trust wide role, to provide engineering and maintenance leadership – driving improvements in maintenance performance, asset information, contractor management, compliance oversight and service coordination

However, for the first 12-months, the role holder will lead a focused improvement programme at the City & Hackney Centre for Mental Health, located within the Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) estate. During this period the role holder will provide dedicated leadership and operational focus to address known maintenance, compliance and service delivery challenges, improve responsiveness and accountability, and strengthen working relationships between ELFT, HHFT and contracted service providers.

The postholder will act as the key Estates lead for the site and they will also support the mobilisation and operational embedding of the new HHFT Soft FM contract at HHFT and help establish clearer governance, reporting and escalation arrangements between organisations.
