💰 What You’ll Get:

£35,190 per year with annual review

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

Work under guidance of a Lead Arborist alongside a Junior Arborist
Preserve, plant, prune, and fell trees, hedgerows, and shrubs
Operate a range of tools and machinery safely (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts)
Respond to emergencies and maintain site safety
Deliver high-quality, customer-focused arboriculture services
Support team best practice and ensure compliance with regulations

🧩 What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills:

Proven experience as an Arborist or Tree Surgeon (pruning, felling, planting, maintaining tree health)
Skilled in operating and maintaining arboricultural tools and machinery
Knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and disease identification
Strong health & safety awareness and ability to work at height
Full UK driving licence and trailer entitlement

Qualifications:

City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra Level 3 in Arboriculture or Horticulture
IPAF 3a, 3b, 1b (cherry picker/MEWP)
CS30–CS40 chainsaw and pruning certifications
NPTC chipper operations
Other relevant arboriculture qualifications desirable

Other Requirements:

Right to work in the UK
Basic DBS check (arranged by us)
