Summary

We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a reputable recovery business in Harlow. This role offers a unique chance for skilled technicians to develop their expertise outside the traditional garage environment, working directly in the field across Harlow and surrounding areas.

- 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays (weekday off when Saturday worked)

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

- Respond to breakdowns and roadside repairs across Harlow and surrounding areas

- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

- Carry out repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models in the field

- Provide excellent customer service on-site and remotely as required

- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of work performed

- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:

- Full UK driving licence

- A minimum of a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)

- At least 2 years post-qualification experience

- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills

- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities

- Flexibility to handle diverse breakdown scenarios

- Electrical and diagnostic experience is advantageous but not essential
