Summary
We are looking to appoint Research Administrative Assistants to join the Research and Development Clinical Delivery Teams at UHDB. You will possess GCSE (Grade C or above) in English or equivalent, with clear handwriting.
You must have excellent communication skills, a good telephone manner, with a high awareness of confidentiality.
You will be well organised, diligent and possess a professional and mature attitude. The ability to handle routine queries pro-actively and use your initiative is essential.

• Accurate inputting and updating of patient information on research database.
• Deal with queries in a timely manner.
• Working to strict Trust and Government policies.
• Any other administrative duty as identified by the clinical team
• Establish and populate spreadsheets and databases, book rooms, photocopy documents as requested in line with Trust and R+D policies.
• Order and track case notes, and scanning documents to facilitate smooth running of trials.
• Collect and enter data into electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRF) from source data files and medical records as directed.
• Follow trial specific instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for data entry
• Ensure all data entry complies with legislation and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements
• Understand and work to the Data Protection Act
• Liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of trials.
