Summary

We are seeking an experienced MOT Technician for a reputable, family-run service centre located in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to join a busy workshop that values quality work and a supportive team environment. - Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm

- Optional Saturday work from 8:30am to 12:30pm

Duties of an MOT Technician:

- Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards

- Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations

- Carry out repairs confidently and efficiently

- Assist with general workshop tasks to maintain smooth operations

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

- Provide excellent customer service with clear communication as an MOT Technician

- Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out

Requirements of an MOT Technician:

- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Proven experience as an MOT Technician, preferably in a main dealership or independent garage

- Ability to carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs confidently

- MOT certification with a valid licence

- Own tools and the ability to work independently in a busy environment

- Positive attitude, professional approach, and good communication skills
