Summary

Our client, a reputable family-run independent automotive service centre operating in Salisbury since 1999, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their renowned team.

Duties:

- Carrying out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer standards

- Diagnosing faults accurately and reporting vehicle conditions to the Service Director as a Vehicle Technician

- Performing vehicle inspections and providing detailed reports on findings

- Strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and quality procedures as a Vehicle Technician

- Delivering high-quality workmanship efficiently in a busy workshop environment

- Maintaining professionalism and technical proficiency to ensure excellent customer service

- Supporting the workshop team to meet productivity targets as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

- IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly desirable

- Several years’ practical experience in vehicle repairs and servicing

- Applications from experienced individuals without formal qualifications are encouraged

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Motivated, reliable, and a strong team player

- Capable of producing consistently high-quality work

- Holding a valid MOT testing license is advantageous, but training will be provided if necessary
