7.5 Tonne Multi Drop Delivery Driver – SloughStart ASAP | Temp to Perm | £15.00 per Hour | £36,756 Per Annum When PermanentWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking 7.5 Tonne Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join a well-established fresh produce supplier based in Slough. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.You'll be delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to restaurants, cafés, shops, and other commercial customers, playing a key role in ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.The RoleAs a 7.5 Tonne Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders while providing outstanding customer service. You will be the face of the business on the road, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ensuring every delivery is completed efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesLoading customer orders onto your vehicle and ensuring they are secured safely.Delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to restaurants, cafés, shops, and other commercial customers.Completing multi-drop deliveries accurately and on schedule.Taking ownership of customer deliveries and handling products with care.Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.Reporting any delivery issues, shortages, damages, or delays promptly.Driving safely and responsibly while adhering to all road traffic regulations and company procedures.Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.Shift PatternThis role operates on a rotating 6-week schedule:Week 1: Monday to Saturday – 6 shiftsWeek 2: Tuesday to Saturday – 5 shiftsWeek 3: Monday to Saturday – 6 shiftsWeek 4: Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – 4 shifts (Tuesday & Wednesday off)Week 5: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday – 4 shifts (Thursday & Friday off)Week 6: Monday to Friday – 5 shifts (Saturday off)Contracted to 45 hours per week.Pay£15.00 per hour while temporary£36,756 per annum once permanentWhat We're Looking ForValid 7.5 Tonne (Category C1) UK Driving LicenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious multi-drop driving experience is desirableGood communication and customer service skillsA positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and manage your route efficientlyPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling, as this role involves lifting and moving crates of fresh produceWhat's on Offer?Immediate start availableTemp-to-perm opportunityWeekly pay while temporaryPermanent salary of £36,756 per yearFull training and ongoing supportFull-time, long-term career opportunityFriendly and supportive working environmentIf you're an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company and can start ASAP, we'd love to hear from you.
