Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Twickenham, West London, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly and family-run team. This MOT Technician opportunity provides a stable and rewarding environment within a well-established, modern workshop, offering the chance to work on a broad range of makes and models.

Key benefits:

- Salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience

- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

- No weekend work

Duties:

- Conduct vehicle service checks, repairs, and maintenance

- Perform MOT testing in accordance with legal requirements

- Carry out diagnostics to identify faults

- Complete vehicle road tests

- Work following company procedures and standards

- Maintain professionalism and uphold the company’s reputation

- Undertake additional tasks as requested to support workshop operations

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician or MOT tester

- Proven customer service skills and a professional attitude

- Strong time management and organisational skills

- Experience working within a busy automotive workshop

- Qualified technician or time-served with relevant experience

- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and modern workshop practices
