Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cardiology Department at St George's Hospital NHS Trust for an experienced and highly motivated IT specialist to join our friendly team and lead the management of our Cardiology IT/PACS systems.

St. George’s Hospital is the provider of one of the largest specialised cardiology services in London. As a tertiary cardiac centre, we provide a

number of services and cardiac investigations such as Echocardiograms, Cath Lab procedures, Pacing, and ECGs, to support a wide range of

specialties including cardiothoracic surgery, coronary and structural intervention, electrophysiology, inherited cardiac conditions and heart failure.

Our cardiac diagnostics are also critical for the management of patients in areas such as acute medicine, ICU, renal medicine, and oncology.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our PACS and IT systems. The role would involve, implementing new IT systems, upgrading existing IT systems and changes in working processes to improve workflow within the department and maintain links with the Trust and Radiology IT team who use similar systems.
