Summary
Location: Preston & BlackburnShift: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We're looking for a Project Engineer to deliver a high volume of Minor New Works (MNW) projects within a live manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in coordinating multiple concurrent projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget whilst maintaining operational continuity.
Role Responsibilities• Plan, coordinate and deliver multiple engineering projects from initiation through to close-out.
• Develop project documentation, including project briefs, Project Initiation Documentation (PID), project plans and risk assessments.
• Lead project delivery activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, to programme, within scope and budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and obtaining key approvals.
• Manage project risks, issues and quality requirements, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and health and safety standards.
• Monitor financial performance, project costs and programme delivery, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Coordinate internal teams and supply chain partners, providing technical guidance and maintaining delivery momentum across all workstreams.
Required Qualifications• Experience in a Project Engineer or project delivery role within construction, facilities management or infrastructure environments.
• Experience delivering projects of varying complexity, value and risk within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, health and safety compliance, and quality assurance processes.
• Engineering or project management qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH qualification is desirable.
