About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to lead our cleaning team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities.
The successful candidate will work alongside existing cleaners & oversee daily cleaning operations, manage staff schedules, conduct quality inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
-Supervise, support, and motivate a team of cleaning staff
-Allocate daily tasks and manage work schedules
-Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained
-Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching
-Monitor stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment as required
-Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety procedures
-Report maintenance issues, incidents, or concerns promptly
-Maintain accurate records, including attendance, inspections, and inventory
Essential Requirements
-Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-Good communication and organisational abilities
-Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and health and safety regulations
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts if required
Desirable Qualifications
-COSHH awareness or certification
-Health and safety training
-Experience using cleaning management systems or scheduling software
-First aid certification
