We're looking for a Catering Assistant who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.
Rate of Pay: £12.74 per hour Position Type: PermanentType of Employment: Part Time Hours: 21 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday-Thursday (3:15pm to 7:15pm) & Sunday (9:30am to 2:30pm) Location: B&Q, Distribution Centre, Rockingham Way, Redhouse Interchange, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, DN6 7FB
Role Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain dining and service areas, including furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
-Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
-Clean all catering areas daily and follow health and safety standards.
-Handle cash collection, banking, and maintain records and procedures.
-Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
What we're looking for:
-Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
-Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
-Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
-Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
-Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
