The role offers an opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to contribute to the safe and reliable movement of goods while working to professional driving and delivery standards.The roleWe are seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join a temporary daytime operation. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and in line with relevant legal and company requirements.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing planned deliveries and collections• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Ensuring loads are secure and handled appropriately• Completing delivery paperwork and required records accurately• Maintaining good communication with transport and site teams• Following road safety, tachograph and working-time regulations• Representing the business professionally at customer and delivery locationsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Previous Class 1 driving experience• Good knowledge of UK roads and road safety requirements• Safe, responsible and professional approach to driving• Ability to complete paperwork and delivery records accurately• Reliable attendance and good timekeeping• Ability to work independently and follow instructionsBenefits• Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift• Paid every WednesdayThis is a temporary daytime opportunity suited to a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver who takes pride in safe and punctual deliveries.Apply today.
