Summary

A friendly and outgoing woman in her 30s with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD) is seeking a caring, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant to provide support on a casual basis.

I have a bubbly personality, enjoy a good sense of humour, and love getting out and about. It is important that you are able to remain calm and reassuring during my attacks, while maintaining a positive and light-hearted approach to support.

The primary requirement is morning support to help me and my children get ready for the day and assist with the school run. Additional hours may also be available during the week to support me with shopping, attending appointments, running errands, and accessing social and leisure activities such as visiting tea rooms, farm shops, and local shops.

Allergies: Penicillin, nuts, seeds, mustard, and latex.

Pets: Two German Shepherd dogs in the home.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting with personal care, including dressing, bathing, toileting, and getting in and out of bed when required.

Assisting with meal and drink preparation.

Providing medication prompts and support as appropriate.

Supporting with household tasks and general homemaking.

Accompanying and assisting with medical and other appointments.

Supporting with grocery shopping and other errands.

Assisting with transport to and from school, appointments, and social activities.

Encouraging social engagement, independence, and community participation.

Building and maintaining a positive, trusting one-to-one working relationship.

Supporting with paperwork and correspondence where required.

As my needs can vary from day to day, flexibility is essential. You may be asked to undertake other reasonable duties to support my wellbeing, independence, and family life.
