Job – Forklift Operative

Ess Employment Ltd have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our client on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely alongside a Packer, ensuring goods are safely moved and stored. While maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

• Support the packing operation by supplying materials and moving completed orders to designated storage or dispatch areas.

• Assist the Packer with general warehouse duties when required.

• Conduct daily forklift safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

• Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse areas are kept clean and organised.

• Accurately complete relevant paperwork and stock movement records.

• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence/certification.

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Reliable and punctual.
