HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth, BristolPay Rate: £16.5 - £19.25 per hourJob Type: PermanentBenefits:- Paid every Wednesday- Visible to local employersShift Type: Days, typical start times 04:00 – 06:00 AM.Skills Required: TrunkingKey Responsibilities:- Safely driving a Class 1 vehicle to designated hubs and stores.- Clean Trunking work with minimal manual handling involved.- Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.- Securing loads correctly and ensuring legal weight limits are met.- Planning routes and complying with driving hours regulations.- Completing delivery and collection paperwork. - Reporting defects, accidents or delays to the appropriate team.- Following health and safety procedures.- Maintaining vehicles cleanliness and roadworthiness. - Providing professional customer service at delivery locations.Qualifications:- Full Valid UK driving licence Category C+E.- Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card. - 3 to 6 months of experience in a similar role driving Class 1 vehicles.- No more than 6 penalty points with no severe endorsements.
