Summary
ROLE: Shift Electrician/Electrical EngineerHOURS: Full time - Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts (4 days on, 4 off, followed by 4 nights)LOCATION: Hounslow, HeathrowAt Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who will deliver excellent service standards while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to maintenance schedules. Working as part of a team, the role will involve delivering both planned maintenance and reactive works across the client site.
Role Responsibilities:
-Carry out electrical safety checks and reactive repair works
-Deliver planned preventative maintenance in line with site schedules
-Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and statutory building regulations
-Maintain accurate records and documentation using IT systems
-Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and ongoing monitoring
Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
-Level 2 or Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
-17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
-Full, valid UK driving licence
-IT literate with strong customer service skills
-Experience within facilities management or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred)
