Warehouse OperativeLocation: Derby, DerbyshireJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentPay Rate: £12.71 per hourShift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy warehouse operation, supporting the efficient movement of stock and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time.The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including goods receiving, order picking, packing, stock control, and dispatch activities. Full training will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving and checking deliveries against delivery notes.Picking and packing customer orders accurately.Preparing goods for dispatch.Loading and unloading vehicles safely.Storing stock in designated warehouse locations.Conducting stock counts and assisting with inventory checks.Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.Following company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or issues to supervisors.Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.Candidate RequirementsEssentialGood attention to detail and accuracy.Strong reliability and punctuality.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Good communication skills.Ability to carry out manual handling duties and remain active throughout the working day.DesirablePrevious warehouse experience.Experience in picking, packing, goods-in, goods-out, or stock control.Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance or Reach).Familiarity with warehouse management systems.What We OfferCompetitive pay rate of £12.71 per hour.Stable, full-time employment.Consistent daytime working hours.Full training provided.Friendly and supportive team environment.Career development opportunities.Company pension scheme.Paid annual leave.Working HoursMonday to Friday8:00am – 4:30pmNo weekend working required.Apply NowIf you are a dependable and motivated individual looking for a long-term opportunity within a successful warehouse operation, we would love to hear from you.Submit your CV today for immediate consideration.
