⭐ Personal Assistant (PA) ⭐👦 11-year-old boy

📍 Berwick upon Tweed

💙 Diagnoses: Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing disorder, significant learning disabilities

💬 Largely non-verbal – will learn his communication style over time

💷 Pay

• £14.67 per hour

⏰ Hours

• 5 hours per week (term time)

• 10 hours per week (school holidays)

📅 Term Time

• One weekday evening 4pm–6pm

• Saturday 10am–1pm

📅 School Holidays

• Tuesday 10am–1:30pm

• Friday 10am–1:30pm

• Saturday 10am–1pm

• Some flexibility available

• Happy, active boy

• Loves being outdoors

• Enjoys parks, shops and McDonald’s trips

• Can become anxious, trust-building is essential

Support Required

• Social and leisure activities

• Support to access the community

• Personal care including continence care

• Assistance with independence skills

What We’re Looking For

• Patient, calm and understanding approach

• Able to build trust at child’s pace

• Proactive – suggest activities and outings

• Experience with ASD or complex needs preferred

• Confident working independently

🚗 Requirements

• Driver preferred with own car

• No gender preference

• Comfortable supporting with personal care
