Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Competitive
⏰ Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays
The Role
We are looking for a versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to support both electrical and mechanical maintenance across site.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability through planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to breakdowns,
and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safely
* Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults quickly
* Work across PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
* Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
* Support installation and commissioning of equipment
* Drive reliability improvements and reduce downtime
About You
* Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Apprentice (multi-skilled preferred)
* Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
* Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
* Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
* Proactive, team-oriented, and safety-focused
* 18th Edition (desirable)
