Summary

We are currently recruiting for the position of HGV Technician - Late Shift on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial vehicle workshop located in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician seeking a stable late shift role with competitive pay, ongoing training, and potential for overtime earnings.

Duties of a HGV Technician:

- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs to DVSA standards

- Diagnosing faults and efficiently completing repairs

- Preparing vehicles for MOT testing

- Conducting preventative maintenance inspections

- Maintaining accurate workshop and vehicle records

- Wheel alignment and tyre fitting duties

- Assisting with general workshop duties as required

Requirements of a HGV Technician :

- Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)

- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards

- Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle classes
