HGV Class 2 Driver - TewkesburyPay Rate: £16 - £17 per hourJob Type: TemporaryBenefits:- Paid every Wednesday- Visible to local employersShift Type: DaysAs a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of building materials using a Category C Licence. This role requires strong driving and commercial driving skills.Duties• Driving: Safely operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle within legal limits and adhering to traffic laws and regulations.• Delivery Planning: Planning routes, schedules, and making adjustments based on traffic and other factors.• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily vehicle checks, reporting any issues, and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.• Loading and Unloading: Assisting with or supervising the safe loading and securing of goods, ensuring they are transported without damage.
