Its operations include catalogue supply, procurement frameworks, warehousing and distribution, serving customers across the UK.The roleAs a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Carrying out planned deliveries safely and efficiently• Loading, securing and unloading goods• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift• Following delivery schedules, route instructions and site procedures• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records• Providing a professional and helpful service at each delivery point• Reporting any vehicle defects, delivery issues or delays promptly• Working safely and complying with relevant transport regulationsSkills and qualifications• A valid C1 or 7.5 Tonne driving licence• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, where applicable• Previous experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle is desirable• Good knowledge of safe loading and manual handling procedures• A responsible, punctual and safety-focused approach• Strong communication and customer service skills• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively• Good physical fitness for loading and unloading goodsThis temporary days-based position offers £15.00 per hour and would suit an experienced driver seeking reliable work in Leicester.Apply today.
