Our client, a reputable dealer group specialising in commercial vehicle maintenance, is looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their team in Trafford Park, Manchester. This is an exciting role for a dedicated professional eager to develop their career within a progressive company.

Duties of the HGV Technician:

- Maintain and repair a wide range of heavy goods vehicles, including trucks and lorries

- Conduct fault diagnosis, testing, and performing all necessary maintenance and repairs

- Deliver high-quality customer service within a defined area

- Complete all relevant warranty, contract, and retail paperwork accurately

- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise efficiency

Candidate Specification:

- City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent

- Proven experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy commercial vehicles

- Manufacturer training or up-to-date technical knowledge (desirable)

- Strong attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach

- Full UK driving licence; LGV or PSV licence advantageous

- Motivated with a commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship
