This role would suit a reliable and safety-conscious driver who is confident completing deliveries and representing a professional logistics operation.About the companyThis Lincolnshire-based logistics business provides road haulage, distribution, warehousing and fulfilment services. Its operations support the movement and storage of goods, using a varied vehicle fleet and tracking technology to help deliver reliable, efficient transport solutions for customers.Key responsibilities• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly• Complete deliveries and collections according to planned routes and schedules• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly• Ensure loads are secure and handled appropriately• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery accurately• Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and site contacts• Follow relevant road transport, health and safety and company procedures• Keep the vehicle clean and presentableSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous Class 1 driving experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Strong communication and customer service skills• Good attention to detail when checking loads and documentation• Physically able to assist with delivery-related duties where requiredBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
