Living in Llangynidr, South Powys. I work with various community initiatives, and charitable organisations between Wales and Africa. I also enjoy watching sports, and regularly attend Hope Church, Gilwern. You will join a team of 4 Helpers funded by Direct Payment via Powys Council. The job being advertised covers 3 days between Monday to Friday, normally from 10-10.30am to 4-4.30pm and will primarily focus on my Office and Mobility support needs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to drive are both essential. Particularly when away from base, your duties will include assisting with toileting.In addition to the Office and Mobility roles there will be occasions when, by mutual arrangement, you will be asked to undertake personnel care duties normally between 8am-1pm. On these occasions you will undertake such duties as morning, personal care, meal preparation, laundry, and other household duties. All applications are welcome, and no experience is expected. However, the job may be of particular interest to someone considering a career related to the inclusion and independence of disabled people.
