This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work, consistent hours, and the chance to join a busy transport operation.The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting general haulage and palletised goods using curtain-sided vehicles, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.Duties Include:Transporting general haulage and palletised goods.Operating Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles.Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections.Completing deliveries and collections across local and regional routes.Completing delivery paperwork accurately.Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.Adhering to drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and all road transport legislation.RequirementsValid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.Valid Driver CPC qualification.Digital Tachograph Card.Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).Good understanding of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and transport legislation.Reliable, punctual and professional with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We OfferCompetitive rates of pay.Regular, ongoing work with full-time hours available.Monday to Friday shifts with 05:00 – 07:00 AM starts.Average shifts of 9–12 hours.Weekend work available with enhanced rates of pay.Weekly pay.Ongoing support from your dedicated Workchain Recruitment consultant.Opportunities for long-term assignments and career progression.If you're an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for your next opportunity in Castle Donington, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today through the Workchain website or contact our Derby team on 01332 207766 for more information.
