Its work combines engineering, design and manufacturing expertise to support customers across a range of industrial applications, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities• Manage daily manufacturing activities and coordinate workflow across the production operation• Plan resources, schedules and priorities to meet production requirements• Monitor output, quality, costs and delivery performance• Lead, support and develop production team members• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and efficiency• Work closely with engineering, technical, purchasing and other internal teams• Ensure procedures, health and safety requirements and quality standards are followed• Investigate production issues and implement effective corrective actions• Maintain accurate records and provide clear operational updatesSkills and qualifications• Previous experience in a manufacturing management or production leadership role• Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement and quality control• Confident people-management, communication and decision-making skills• A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail• Ability to manage competing priorities in a technical manufacturing environment• Good IT and reporting skills• A relevant technical, engineering or manufacturing qualification would be advantageousBenefits• Permanent employment opportunity• Day-shift working pattern• Salary of £40,000–£50,000 per annumApply today.
