We are seeking kind, reliable, and proactive individuals to support a friendly gentleman living in Duddo, near Berwick-upon-Tweed. He has cerebral palsy and is in the process of building his own dedicated care and support team. Although he has cerebral palsy and is deaf (relying on hearing aids), he manages many daily tasks using his feet. He has created a detailed overview of his routines to provide insight into the type of support required.Support will include:

Preparing and assisting with healthy, nutritious meals
Supporting with feeding and ensuring drinks are readily available
Assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting
Prompting and supporting with medication
Light household duties, including laundry, changing bedding, and shopping

This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s everyday life.The role is 35 hours per week, arranged flexibly. Typical call times are likely to be around 9am, 1pm, 5pm, and 9pm, though availability and flexibility can be discussed.We welcome applications from both employed and self-employed individuals.
