Its operations support the movement and storage of goods, with a focus on reliable service, safe working practices and compliant transport solutions across the UK.The roleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and on time. You will represent the business professionally while carrying out vehicle checks and following all relevant transport and road safety requirements.Key responsibilities• Driving a Class 1 vehicle on local and UK routes• Completing deliveries and collections in line with schedules• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks• Securing loads correctly and checking accompanying paperwork• Communicating professionally with customers and site teams• Complying with drivers’ hours, tachograph and transport legislation• Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E• Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous HGV driving experience• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Professional manner and clear communication skills• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• Minimum 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a days-based temporary driving role suited to a dependable Class 1 Driver who can deliver a high standard of service.Apply today.
