It focuses on dependable service, customer requirements and the continued development of its people, facilities and transport operations.The roleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing deliveries and collections across planned routes• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely• Handling freight by hand when required• Working with curtainsider vehicles• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant vehicle records• Providing professional service at collection and delivery points• Following site, road safety and company proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous Class 2 driving experience• Experience with handball and curtainsider vehicles• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules• Good communication and customer service skills• Physically able to load and unload goods safelyBenefits• £15.00 to £16.00 per hour• Minimum of eight hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Day shifts• Temporary work in RugbyApply today.
