Summary

To maintain consistent concentration and attention to detail to minimise medication errors and ensure patient safety. To safely handle hazardous materials, including cytotoxic medicines, monoclonal antibodies, and cleaning agents, in compliance with all safety standards. To accurately and promptly communicate information regarding prescriptions and medication availability to pharmacy, medical, nursing colleagues, and patients. To manage staff rotas and support professional development, including supervision, training, and maintaining practice expertise within the team. To dispense controlled drugs and investigational medicinal products in line with legal requirements, Good Clinical Practice, trial protocols, and accredited pharmacy standards. To develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the safe and efficient running of the aseptic service.
