A really nice rewarding job working part-time as a member of a team of personal assistants supporting a young man (mid 30s) with Downs Syndrome.
Shifts are generally 7-10am and 3-9pm but can be very flexible within the team. Evening shifts can be split to suit individual PAs. Weekend shift timings are slightly different and flexible.
The client lives independently , is active and involved in activities every day of the week and some weekends. He has a very active lifestyle and needs PAs to help him access interests and services.
He has no challenging behavioural issues and no major medical problems.
Typical duties will include helping to prepare and cook meals, supervise cleaning, getting to places on time, laundry tasks.
His interests are all sports especially football, art, cinema, theatre and gym.
