Trauma informed, relationships and strengths based social work is at the heart of our practice. The team is based in both clinical and community settings. Frequent contact is required with acute hospital sites and locality teams. We use a Recovery Focused and Conversations approach to understand what really matters to people and families, what needs to happen next for them, and how we can be most useful. We also have the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 at the heart of our practice, to provide a range of choices to people for how they are provided with the support they need. You will undertake a range of statutory tasks including assessments and support planning, risk assessment and risk management and Carers\' assessments. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will support adults, their families, and carers, to balance the complex areas of risk and need with choice and rights. You will also be able to provide advice, support, guidance and, if necessary, interventions, should an adult be at risk of harm and in need of protection under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 or Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000. You will work in a supportive, well-established teams and have regular supervision and training. Surveyor Waverley Court Salary: £47,639 - £ 56,392 Hours: 36 per week The Council is seeking a confident, personable and technically strong chartered surveyor with previous people, client and property management experience. Working within the Operational Estate Team, you will be involved in property management issues throughout the Council's Operational Property Portfolio and giving estates surveying advice to the Council's service areas. This will include acting for the Council as both landlord and tenant or property owner in property transactions including leases, licences, wayleaves/servitudes, acquisitions. The successful candidate will also undertake asset valuations for the Council's asset register and statutory accounts. You must have full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS or FRICS) within the Commercial Property, Valuation or Planning & Development professional groups. You will also either currently be an RICS Registered Valuer or eligible for registration. Relevant work experience, especially in property management and leasing is essential.
