Pay: £15.01 per hour Nights, typically starting between 5:00 PM–6:00 PM 4 months ongoing Immediate starts available We are recruiting for a Temporary Sort Manager / Supervisor to join our client’s global parcel operation. You will lead a team of approximately 20–40 people, ensuring the smooth flow of parcels, strong performance and achievement of strict KPIs. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, with responsibility for workforce management, workforce breaks, trailer doors, incidents, compliance and health & safety. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of 20–40 people. • Manage breaks, workforce utilisation and daily operations. • Ensure parcel flow and throughput targets are achieved. • Manage loading doors and support trailer loading. • Monitor KPIs, performance and compliance. • Manage incidents and resolve operational issues. • Communicate with transport and senior management. • Give clear instructions and follow operational direction. • Use Google Sheets to monitor and record information. • Start times may be brought forward during busy periods, particularly October–December. Flexibility is essential. • Pervious experience in warehousing and production operations management is desired.
