The successful candidate will have strong play skills and be able to adapt activities, redirect attention and use distraction techniques when required, helping him to remain regulated and enjoy positive experiences. There will be some personal care responsibilities within this role. Applicants must have a background in supporting children with SEND and be confident meeting the needs of children with additional support requirements. Paediatric First Aid training would be beneficial, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
