HGV Class 2 Driver – General Haulage & Palletised Distribution | Ongoing Work | PAYE Description Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing General Haulage and Palletised Distribution work with a number of leading transport and logistics clients across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for professional HGV Class 2 Drivers looking for regular, ongoing work delivering palletised freight to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), National Distribution Centres (NDCs), commercial premises, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and retail businesses. The role involves operating modern 18-tonne and 26-tonne rigid vehicles, completing between 1 and 10 deliveries or collections per shift, depending on route planning and customer locations. Routes may be local, regional or nationwide, offering a varied workload with consistent hours. Most loads are forklift loaded and unloaded, although some deliveries may require the use of a tail lift and electric pump truck to move palletised freight safely into customer premises. There is occasional light manual handling, but the role is primarily focused on professional driving and customer service. Day and night shifts are available, with typical start times from 05:00am onwards.
