    A great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client, one of the biggest supermarket chains in the UK. Staffline are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Avonmouth. The hours of work are: - 2pm to 10pm - 4pm to 12am (midnight) - 6pm to 12am (midnight) - possible 2am finish times The rate of pay is £15.08 to £27.60 per hour Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative your role will include: - Using manual handling equipment within a large chilled warehouse to pick a variety of fresh produce - ranging from fresh vegetables, dairy products, desserts etc. - Operating both manual and electrical pallet trucks and stacking items into roll cages, guided by digital wrist mounted computers and trigger scanners. - Other duties may include loading and unloading and site hygiene Our Perfect Worker Our perfect Warehouse Operative will: - Physical Fitness and Stamina - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items for extended periods. - Capable of handling manual tasks safely and efficiently throughout a shift. - Maintains productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. - Attention to Detail - Accurately picks orders - Checks stock quantities, product codes, and shipment details to minimize errors. - Follows procedures to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. - Teamwork and Communication - Works effectively with colleagues and supervisors - Contributes to a positive and cooperative working environment. - Time Management and Reliability - Prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and productivity targets. - Demonstrates punctuality and dependability. - Completes assigned duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy. - Health and Safety Awareness - Understands and follows warehouse health and safety procedures. - Uses equipment and machinery responsibly. - Helps maintain a safe and organized workplace. - Adaptability and Willingness to Learn - Quickly learns new processes, equipment, and warehouse management systems. - Adapts to changing workloads, shift patterns, and operational requirements. - Remains flexible and positive when facing new challenges.
