The service will provide an integrated model of care and support through a partnership between the Forensic Outreach Service and a Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) provider. It will enable people to transition safely and sustainably from secure mental health services into the community, through access to high quality accommodation and specialist, recovery-focused support delivered in a least restrictive setting. Our aim is to further improve our FDS target and streamline services to introduce more one stop clinics and straight to test diagnostics. These will initially be supervised with the aim of working towards independent practice. There will be an alternate week theatre session. The post will include daily ward rounds of any gynaecological cancer patients, prepping for the local MDT meeting and virtual attendance at the central MDT meeting at Hammersmith. Senior Clinical Trials Research Pharmacist (Band 8a) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our Clinical Trials Pharmacy team as a Senior Clinical Trials Research Pharmacist (Band 8a). In this role, you will support the delivery of a high-quality, compliant clinical trials pharmacy service across a broad portfolio of specialties, including early phase studies. Working closely with the Clinical Trials Pharmacy Manager and multidisciplinary research teams, you will lead on thepharmacy set-up, capacity and capability assessment, and ongoing delivery of clinical trials. Working closely with R&D, investigators and sponsors, you will provide expert advice on clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, and safe medication use, ensuring compliance with GCP and all relevant legislation. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking surgeon for the position of Post-CCT Fellow in the Specialist Hip & Knee Unit. We are recruiting for: 1 x 4 month post Dec 2026 - March 2027 A curriculum vitae will be required with the application form. The Specialist Hip & Knee Unit offers an exceptional fellowship opportunity for surgeons seeking advanced training in orthopaedic procedures. Led by a team of 12 substantive consultants, the fellowship provides comprehensive exposure to complex hip and knee arthroplasty, with unique flexibility for candidates to tailor their experience towards either arthroplasty, hip surgery or knee surgery. The Fellow’s post will provide exposure to all aspects of the management of patients with primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty and complex limb reconstruction. There will be ample opportunity to assist and gain experience with the full range of extremity and pelvic surgical cases. Attendance at arthroplasty MDT meetings is expected. The Fellow will be allocated to one of the sub teams within the unit and have the opportunity to rotate at 6 months. The Fellow will attend fixed outpatient clinics and operating lists. There will be opportunities to sit in clinic with the consultants as a learning experience as well as see patients independently. Likewise, in theatre, there will be opportunities to assist with complex surgical procedures as well as undertake surgery as the lead surgeon. As the fellow gains in experience they will be able to work more and more independently over time. There will be supervised research sessions. The post holder will be expected to present research at national and international meetings. The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital was founded in 1907 with the amalgamation of London’s three specialist orthopaedic hospitals into one single centre of excellence. We can therefore trace our history back to 1838 when the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital was founded. The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust was formed in 1991 as part of the first wave of NHS Trusts. We provide a comprehensive range of neuro-musculoskeletal health care, ranging from the most acute spinal injury or complex bone tumour to orthopaedic medicine and specialist rehabilitation for chronic back pain sufferers. This broad range of neuro-musculoskeletal services is unique within the NHS.
