You will have scope toshape the future of urgent care, mentor and develop practitioners, improve patient experience and drive service excellence. • Responsible for day-to-day management, quality and risk and performance of the service delivery. • To support the Head of Service in delivering high quality care that delivers best value and to monitor and evaluate the quality-of-care provision, identify and promote areas for service development in accordance with Trust service and team requirements • Provide clear and consistent leadership to the professional and direct care/rehabilitation assistant/technician staff within the department/unit and be responsible for the continuous management of services. • Take lead responsibility for ensuring that patient experience of the service are positive and for monitoring and leading improvements in conjunction with annual patient surveys, FFT, and Quality Assurance Framework for community services. • Provide visible accessible and authoritative presence in clinical settings and patient residential environments to whom patients and families can turn for assistance advice and support • To provide leadership and advice in response to caseload managers and the wider team regarding the needs of vulnerable adults ensuring appropriate risks are managed and escalated with appropriate action managed without detriment to patient safety and patient outcomes and continuous service delivery. Liaise with Trust and divisional safeguarding leads when necessary.
