The department is committed to support continual professional development and clinical supervision. Main Duties: 1. Clinical 1.1. To work autonomously as a highly skilled band 7 independent practitioner to provide specialist/expert dietary advice to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and to carers, parents, clinicians and other professionals. Or work towards this if in the developmental band 6 role. 1.2. To work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary teams (including, community paediatricians, community paediatric health care professionals, local authority personnel) to provide a flexible, prioritised service based on clinical need within community settings. Community paediatric clinics will be provided in health centres, a domiciliary service to patient’s homes, day centres, schools and nurseries and other venues in Ealing. 1.3.. To advise patients, families and carers on appropriate dietary intervention using a range of developed communication and teaching skills to ensure understanding and promote the effective management of their condition. 1.5. To undertake a comprehensive assessment of a child’s condition including anthropometric measurements, understanding drug treatments and interpreting other clinical test results including biochemistry results, with relevance to the dietary intervention(s) required. The Clinical Service Lead will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership to the Horizon Service, a specialist CAMHS service supporting children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. Working across Lewisham's Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, the post holder will lead a multidisciplinary workforce to deliver high-quality, safe and effective mental health care, ensuring services are responsive to the needs of local children, young people and families. The role is responsible for service performance, governance, workforce leadership, safeguarding, quality improvement and service transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with partners across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to develop integrated pathways, improve access and outcomes, reduce inequalities and contribute to the ongoing development of neighbourhood-based models of care across Lewisham CAMHS. The Materials Management Operative is a customer-facing role requiring a strong customer service work ethic and commitment to being always proactive and positive. The role will require working in a team, operating the Trust’s goods inwards / outwards systems for delivering goods to Wards and Departments. The post holder will be expected to assist customers who come to the Main Stores, checking goods received against delivery documents and picking and packing supplies as per requisitions received from Services within the Trust. To work as part of Materials Management team to carry out: Receipting and distribution of all goods ordered. To review stock levels and manage stock inventory in line with clinical activity, and scan, order and put away as per the schedule. This role requires the post holder to be physically fit.
