Applicants should be registered or eligible with RCCP/HCPC registration. This post is suitable for newly qualified graduate audiologists. Undertake full Audiological assessments of patients and to assist in complex and non-routine cases such as those with multiple disabilities and severe communication difficulties. This include history taking and carrying out hearing and auditory function tests to include pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing and speech audiometry. Carry out examination of the ear by Otoscopy in patients including complex cases, to identify the anatomy of an individual’s ear, any abnormalities or pathology. We are a large, well established service based in a diverse borough of London. Our service provides low and high intensity therapies at Step 2 and Step 3, alongside our Step 3 counselling service. Our team is key in the work we do and service provided to the population of Kensington and Chelsea. We are looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who are adaptable, enjoy challenges and diversity and demonstrate an enthusiasm for primary care work. We particularly welcome applicants who speak other languages and who have enthusiasm for and experience of working with diversity. You will provide a range of standardised assessments and interventions to people with mild to moderate common mental health problems in primary care and community settings. This may include facilitating the provision of guided self-help and signposting service users to appropriate statutory and voluntary sector services according to their needs. You will work under close clinical supervision and will be provided with appropriate support and training. They will be required to provide individual/group interventions, under close supervision, and/or support to GPs and other health professionals in appropriate activities. Join our Resilience Directorate in this newly established management role, where you will play a key part in keeping patients,staffand visitors safe across Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. As Fire and Health & Safety Manager, you willprovidestrategic advice, operational leadership and assurance across fire safety and health and safety. You will help the Trust meet its legal, regulatory and policy requirements while supporting services toidentify, manage and reduce risk. Working across the Trust, you will influence and support managers at all levels to strengthen safety standards, respond to incidents and risks, deliver agreedprioritiesand promote a positive culture of health and safety. You will also lead and develop the Fire,Healthand Safety Team, creating effective ways to engage colleagues and raise awareness across our workforce. The Resilience Directorate provides specialist support across areas including emergency planning, major incident management, CQC compliance, medical devices, interpreting and patient and stafflogistics. As Fire and Health & Safety Manager, you will: • Lead the implementation, review and continuous improvement of Trust fire and health and safety policies, procedures, guidance and associated workstreams. • Develop and oversee a comprehensive programme of inspections and audits across Trust sites, ensuring compliance with policies, KPIs, national requirements and new legislation. • Act as the Trust’s designated Fire and Health & Safety Manager,advisingservices on the identification, assessment and management of risks andmonitoringlocal action plans. • Lead the Trust’s RIDDOR reporting processes, ensuring information is appropriately gathered,reviewedand escalated. • Lead the development and delivery of staff training,briefingsand guidance in partnership with the Trust Academy and relevant specialists. • Build effective relationships with external organisations, including the Health and Safety Executive, fire and rescue services and auditors. • Represent the Trust at relevant senior internal and external meetings on behalf of the Director of Resilience. • Lead, manage and develop the Fire, Health and Safety Team, ensuring effectiveobjectives, supervision,appraisaland professional development. You will work collaboratively across the Trust to promote a proactive safety culture and support continuous improvement in fire and health and safety standards. The successful applicant will support the nationally and internationally recognized Autonomic Unit based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The Autonomic Unit has pioneered the translation of autonomic research into clinical practice in the UK and worldwide, and is closely involved in national, European and international autonomic and neurological societies, and in International Consensus Groups and Task Forces providing guidelines and policy. Clinical Autonomic Scientists work along with the clinicians, to ensure that the clinical service is underpinned by a strong investigation and evidence base. They have devised and implemented new diagnostic tests for central and peripheral autonomic function, and novel treatments. They have pioneered novel, mainly non-invasive techniques for the investigation of pathophysiological mechanisms in various autonomic disorders. The team has in the last 5 years established additional patients’ pathway including the delivery of autonomic assessment, rehabilitation and immunotherapy one of the most severe but treatable autonomic failure condition, such as autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy. We have also established the first Autonomic adolescent service and a new diagnostic assessment for postganglionic sudomotor dysfunction. The expanded spectrum of patients seen at the Autonomic unit require additional senior specialist in autonomic neurology leading on the delivery of assessment and treatment of patients with autonomic failure.
