The Lighthouse is a multi-agency service for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse. The service is based in Camden and is available to children and young people in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. Within the multi-agency service there is a health team made up of Paediatricians, a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Play Specialist. We are a small friendly team and work closely together to provide guidance and support to help children and young people to recover and ability to work as part of a team is very important. The Lewisham Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (LEIS) is looking for a highly enthusiastic and skilled Family Interventions Therapist with experience working with people with psychosis. The successful applicant will share responsibility for the provision of family interventions for psychosis to families and carers. The post holder will join apsychological therapies team within LEIS. LEIS is a specialist multidisciplinary community mental health team supporting people aged 18-65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The team uses well-researched Early Intervention strategies and works intensively with service users and carers for up to three years, to promote engagement with the team and with a range of interventions to facilitate social inclusion and recovery. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the provision of family interventions at LEIS, particularly facilitating the teams’ work with families where a member is experiencing psychosis. Family interventions involve experience delivering FI, Cognitive-Behavioural Interventions, Open Dialogue, Cognitive-Behavioural Family Interventions or Systemic oriented family interventions and psycho-education. We are looking for a Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our dynamic community diabetes service serving the London Borough of Enfield. This is a 37.5hrs permanent contract. The successful candidate should have the ability to undertake advanced clinical assessments of patients with a diagnosis of diabetes providing appropriate clinical intervention, support, non-medical prescribing (desirable) , and advice to patients and carers. This role provides nursing support within the community diabetes service, providing tier 3 intermediate service and supporting primary care (Tier 1 and 2) and allowing appropriate referrals into secondary care (Tier 4). This a community post but the successful candidate will very closely with the acute care, Diabetes service across West and North London ICB , Enfield GP Federation and all other key stakeholders.
