An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow to join our HIV Department at the North Middlesex University Hospital for a period of 6 months. This is an excellent and unique opportunity for trainees interested in a career in or broadening their experience of HIV and Infectious diseases, and to develop their skills working within a dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary team. The post will include audit and quality improvement. You will work along-side specialist trainees in Acute Medicine/GUM/HIV/ID, and under Consultant supervision. The successful applicant will have up to 1 year of full-time clinical trial units post and doing on calls at Hammersmith Hospital on a 1B Banding. This is an opportunity for an individual to gain sub-specialist expertise and research experience in Immune haematology conditions and clinical trials. The position is suitable for individuals who would like more clinically based experience in the management of patients, clinical trial exposure and the opportunity to undertake prospective and retrospective patient outcome studies with a view to presentation and publication. Collaborations across Imperial College and with other institutions will be encouraged. This post is suitable for candidates towards of the end of their haematology training, who already have MRCP, and are GMC accredited.
