The role of the Systemic Family Psychotherapist and Neurodevelopmental Sub Team Lead is to provide a specialist family and systemic psychotherapy service to children and young people with mental health problems across all sectors of care as part of a multidisciplinary CAMHS service, including specialist family assessment and therapy for service users and their families/carers, and advice and consultation to non-systemic psychotherapist colleagues and the wider professional network.You will be joining a vibrant team of professionals and systemic psychotherapists who regularly attend discipline meetings and CPD events. The post holder will be based in Westminster CAMHS as part of the Neurodevelopmental Team, providing generic CAMHS assessment and intervention alongside specialist systemic psychotherapy interventions. They will contribute to care plans and highly specialist assessments of children with complex presentations including ADHD, ASD, and OCD, and support formulation and treatment planning in line with best practice, evidence-based interventions and NICE guidance. Westminster CAMHS is open Monday – Friday (9am - 5pm), excluding bank holidays . The Neurodevelopmental Team MDT takes place weekly on Thursdays, therefore attendance on this day is required. We take flexible working seriously, and will always be open to discussion to meet our workforce's competing work-life demands . The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service’s policies and procedures. The post holder will provide clinical supervision to Band 7s within the service, B7 family therapists and family therapy trainees, including live supervision within the Family Therapy Clinic, however this is not limited to Family Therapist and . They will also be the Sub-team Lead for the Neurodevelopmental Team, holding senior clinical and operational responsibilities and working with consultants, sub-team leads, borough leads and the team manager & service manager. The Neurodevelopmental Team is jointly led by a Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Clinical Psychologist. The post holder will join the leadership structure as Sub Team Co-Lead, sharing responsibility for service delivery, clinical leadership and operational performance. Key Responsibilities 1. These posts are based at St Mary’s Hospital. The unit comprises a 32 bedded modern facility on the 9thfloor. Every bed is fully equipped with standardized modular monitoring and with information technology (ICCA/ICIP) allowing access to pathology and radiology results and patient documentation. St Mary’s is a busy tertiary referral and teaching centre as well as atop performing UK major trauma centre (TARN data). Tertiary specialties include major trauma, major upper and lower GI surgery, vascular surgery in addition to general surgery and medicine. The fellowship in intensive care is open to international medical graduates who have done part or whole of their specialty training. A minimum of 1 year of intensive care experience is required along with 6 months in either acute/general medicine, anaesthetics or emergency medicine. Complete airway management independence is a requirement to apply for the post. The department offers GMC sponsorship for which IELTS academic or OET are fundamental requirements. The successful candidate will be required to support the DN Team Leader with leadership initiatives including caseload and staff management within the District Nurse Service structure. This is a role within the Green Paper for Transforming children and young people’s mental health.We are seeking a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join our diverse Harrow Mental Health Support Team (MHST), based within CNWL Early Intervention CAMHS. The post holder will work across Harrow schools, supporting children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs, including anxiety, low mood, behavioural difficulties, and occupational performance or participation needs. This role will involve delivering evidence-based, short-term occupational therapy interventions, supporting whole school approaches to mental health and wellbeing, and working closely with our key stakeholders which include children, young people, families, schools, and multi-disciplinary colleagues. The post holder will also contribute to the development of the OT pathway within Harrow MHST in line with CYP-IAPT principles. The post holder will provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention, consultation and signposting for children and young people within Harrow schools. This will include individual and group work, psychoeducation, promoting healthy routines, supporting emotional regulation, improving participation in education, self-care and leisure, and helping young people develop coping and self-management skills.
