About the role You will provide essential administrative support to the medical workforce function. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the administration and coordination ofmedical rotas. • UsingHealth Rosterto accurately record sickness, annual leave and other workforce information, under the direction of the Workforce Coordinator. • Helping to ensure workforce information is maintained accurately and efficiently. • Providing general administrative support to the Workforce Coordinator and Service Manager. • Undertaking other duties as agreed within theObstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who isorganised, reliable and enjoys working as part of a busy team, with an interest in developing their administrative and workforce coordination skills. • To work alongside the Workforce Co-ordinator in managing non-career grade Doctors, Specialist Registrars, and middle grades / junior doctors, following the implementation of a full shift rota for all grades. • To assist and co-ordinate leave for all grades of medical staff, ensuring appropriate cover is provided in line with Working Time Directive. • To assist the Workforce Co Ordinator with administration surrounding the Workforce Rotas. • Using Health Roster to record sickness and annual leave with direction from the Workforce Co Ordinator. • Recording sickness and alerting the Workforce Co Ordinator so this can be recorded and actioned.
